Learn how to use fullscreen, rotate a phone to landscape, exit immersive mode, and troubleshoot browser permissions. This guide focuses on practical steps and realistic expectations, because compatibility depends on the browser, device, and external provider.

Why fullscreen can help

Fullscreen hides much of the browser interface and gives the player more visible space. It cannot increase the provider's actual resolution or performance by itself.

Fullscreen on desktop

Start the player, then use the website's Fullscreen button. If the browser blocks the request, click the page first and try again. You can also use the browser's own fullscreen command if available.

Fullscreen on a Chromebook

Use the page's fullscreen control or the Chromebook browser's supported fullscreen shortcut. The exact behavior depends on ChromeOS version, browser mode, and whether the external player permits fullscreen.

Rotate a phone to landscape

Tap Rotate Screen when supported. The website requests fullscreen and attempts to lock landscape orientation; mobile browsers may deny orientation locking. If that happens, turn the phone sideways manually.

How to exit fullscreen

Use the on-screen exit control if present or press Escape on a keyboard. On phones, use the browser's exit-fullscreen gesture or navigation controls.

When fullscreen does not work

Check site permissions, update the browser, and try opening the provider directly. A cross-origin iframe or the provider's own settings may limit fullscreen. Never assume a website can override browser security rules.
